We're a team of people who got into wellness because it worked for us first. Different backgrounds, different paths, same reason - we felt the difference and wanted to help other people feel it too.
We get to know you.
We pay attention.
We care about the thing that hurts right now and the bigger picture of how you're feeling overall.
People come in for one thing and stay because they like how they feel when they're taking care of themselves. We love being part of that.
WE’RE POINT PRESCRIPTION
HELLO, HI, WELCOME.
NICE TO MEET YOU.
Most people come in for one thing - pain, stress, sleep, something that's not working. We help with that. But we also pay attention to the bigger picture, and over time, that turns into something more.
We didn't plan it that way. It just turns out that when you keep showing up and we keep paying attention, it becomes a real relationship.
STAY AWHILE.
Your first visit is a little longer. We want time to get to know you and do a thorough first treatment.
From there, we start with weekly visits. Consistency matters early on.
Then we figure out what makes sense for you. Every other week, monthly, whatever fits your life.
Most people come in for one thing. Over time, we work on all the things.

our clients love the results they’re seeing…
I started going to Point Prescription in 2021 for general wellness and regular maintenance for 2 herniated discs in my neck. Since then, I’ve been getting acupuncture and cupping 1-2 times a month and love how balanced and relaxed my body feels afterward. They listen intently and take good care of their clients. Point Prescription is a trustworthy clinic and knowledgeable about health and the body.
The office is in a good location with parking, quiet and clean. I love the spaces they’ve chosen for their practices, and they’ve made them feel calming and comfortable.
Overall an amazing experience!

Acupuncture is an ancient healing practice that has been used for thousands of years. Acupuncture involves the insertion of thin, sterile needles into specific points on the body, believed to be connected to the body's energy pathways, or meridians. By stimulating these points, acupuncture aims to restore balance and promote the body's natural healing ability. This holistic approach not only treats physical symptoms but also addresses the underlying imbalances that may be contributing to the person's health issues. Acupuncture has been shown to effectively treat a wide range of conditions.
-
Fire cupping has been used for centuries to promote healing and restore balance in the body. During a fire cupping session, small glass cups are applied to the skin and suction is created by briefly heating the air inside the cup with a flame and then placing it on the body. As the cups cool, they create a vacuum effect, drawing blood flow to the surface and releasing tension from muscles and tissues. This process stimulates circulation, relieves pain, and helps to detoxify the body by stimulating the lymphatic system. Fire cupping is used for muscle soreness, respiratory issues, and even emotional stress.
-
Dry needling involves the insertion of thin, solid needles into specific points of the body, targeting trigger points within muscles or connective tissues. This treatment aims to release tension, alleviate pain, and improve overall muscle function. Different from traditional acupuncture, dry needling focuses on the musculoskeletal system to help relieve muscular tension and promote healing. By targeting specific trigger points, dry needling can help restore proper muscle balance and stimulate the body's natural healing response.

There's pretty much nothing that acupuncture can't help with, especially when used in a holistic way to complement other wellness activities. Stress-related ailments tend to respond super well to treatment, and stress reduction is pretty much inevitable!
-
Acupuncture’s main goal is to connect the body and mind. When done with expertise, it taps into your own body's energy and helps you use that energy more efficiently and effectively.
-
The idea behind acupuncture is that there are places within you where energy is either stuck or being overused, and other places where energy is weaker and deficient. For example, if your digestive tract is having to work too hard, other parts of your body might not get the energy they need—and so you might have headaches or fatigue.
This energy isn’t mystical—it’s simply a fact. Remember, the calories we take in are a form of energy that the body uses. But when there’s an imbalance of energy within us, it simply means that certain areas of our body are not getting everything they need to be well—and there are solutions for that!
The point of acupuncture is to realign your body to work the way it's supposed to, so that everything is balanced and your own body can more easily use the energy it has to heal itself.
